Challenge
What the institution needed
Hills Road Sixth Form College, one of the UK's top-performing sixth form colleges, wanted to give Year 12 students (ages 16-17) a taste of real business decision-making. The challenge was engaging a young audience accustomed to traditional classroom instruction and showing them that business decisions involve far more complexity than textbooks suggest.

How Business Heroes was used

Each student managed a food truck business in the simulation, navigating pricing strategy, inventory management, financial statements, and marketing decisions. The simulation revealed the true complexity of business operations - students who initially felt confident quickly discovered how much more there was to learn, a powerful educational moment in itself.
