Visionaries Young Founders Fellowship Terms

Last updated: 31 May 2026. These terms explain the admissions, payment, refund, and student readiness process for the founding cohort.

These Fellowship terms supplement the Visionaries Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict for the Visionaries Young Founders Fellowship, these Fellowship terms apply unless mandatory law gives the family stronger rights.

1. Who Can Enroll

The Visionaries Young Founders Fellowship is for students aged 12-18 at the start of the cohort. A Parent or legal guardian must lead the application, provide consent, accept the relevant terms, and make all payments.

Visionaries may ask for information about the student's age, goals, interests, readiness, schedule, and support needs so we can decide whether the Fellowship is a good fit.

2. Admissions-Led Enrollment

Payment alone does not confirm admission or access. Enrollment is complete only when all of the following are done:

  • A parent or legal guardian submits the application.
  • Visionaries reviews family and student fit.
  • The student completes the interview or readiness step.
  • The parent or guardian accepts the applicable terms and privacy notices.
  • The required payment stage clears.
  • Visionaries confirms acceptance in writing.

If the student is not accepted after the readiness review, the family may receive a refund under the policy below.

3. Tuition and 50/50 Payment

Founding cohort tuition is stated in the family's private written offer and must be approved by Visionaries before any checkout link is sent.

A private checkout link is sent only after parent qualification, refund/dropout disclosure, terms acceptance, and the student interview/readiness review are complete.

  • First 50%:reserves the accepted family's conditional seat after the admissions gate is complete.
  • Final 50%: is due after acceptance and before cohort access begins.

The first payment is a conditional seat reservation. It does not guarantee admission, access, a specific cohort place, or a specific outcome.

4. Forwarded Checkout Links

Checkout links are private and may be sent only to qualified families by Visionaries or an approved representative.

If a checkout link is forwarded and used by a family that has not completed the admissions process, the payment will be placed on admission hold. Visionaries will not grant access until guardian consent, terms acceptance, and the student readiness review are complete.

If the student is not accepted, Visionaries will offer a refund or, where appropriate, a transfer to a better-fit future cohort.

5. Refunds, Cancellation, and Dropout

Refund requests should be sent in writing to the Visionaries admissions or support contact. Unless mandatory consumer law gives the family stronger rights, the founding cohort refund policy is:

  • Not accepted after interview/readiness review: 100% refund of payments made.
  • Parent or guardian cancels before first live session or access activation: 100% refund of payments made.
  • Parent or guardian cancels within 7 calendar days after first session or access activation: 75% refund of the first payment, or one transfer to a future cohort if available.
  • After 7 calendar days or after the second live session, whichever comes first: no standard cash refund, but Visionaries may offer one future cohort transfer where reasonable.
  • Medical or family emergency: reviewed case by case for a transfer or partial goodwill refund.
  • Visionaries cancels the cohort or materially changes the paid experience: full refund or free transfer, at the family's choice.
  • Visionaries cannot deliver a paid high-touch component: refund for the undelivered portion or downgrade to the applicable lower service level and refund the difference.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing timing may depend on the payment provider and the family's bank.

6. Student Participation

Families should expect the student to spend approximately 2-3 focused online hours per week for 6 weeks, unless Visionaries confirms a different cohort structure in writing.

Visionaries may pause, remove, or restrict access for misconduct, unsafe behavior, misuse of the platform, repeated disruption, or violation of community expectations. Refunds in those cases are reviewed based on the circumstances and applicable law.

7. No Guaranteed Outcomes

The Fellowship is an educational entrepreneurship experience built around simulation, guided practice, feedback, and reflection. Visionaries does not promise or guarantee:

  • Income, profit, revenue, sales, or business traction.
  • Investment, funding, grants, prizes, or business partnerships.
  • Admission to any school, university, programme, incubator, or competition.
  • Academic credit, professional certification, or external recognition unless stated in a signed Visionaries agreement.
  • A specific portfolio, testimonial, ranking, score, or result.

8. No Institutional Affiliation

Visionaries and Business Heroes are independent. The Fellowship is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated in partnership with any school, university, institution, programme, or named third party unless Visionaries states that relationship in a signed written agreement.

9. Child Data and Privacy Caution

Families should avoid submitting sensitive child data unless Visionaries specifically asks for it and explains why it is needed. This includes medical details, identity documents, school records, financial information, or highly personal background information.

Parents and guardians are responsible for making sure the information they provide is accurate and that they have the authority to share it.

10. Statutory Rights Override

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. If applicable consumer, payment, child protection, education, privacy, or other mandatory law gives the family stronger rights than these terms, those statutory rights override these terms.
